New Smyrna Beach, FL – Three and a half years ago, we formulated a plan to make sure the surf film fans in Central Florida and beyond would develop an appreciation for and enjoy modern surf documentaries at a unique, inspiring venue on the big screen. This plan meant finding others who share this desire to celebrate the filmmakers and surfers who make these movies. Whether it be film, digital video, still photography, or the music that brings these super-charged works to life, we still need the partnership to fund the type of event we wanted to produce.

We are very happy to share this experience with Monster Energy Company, who will present the 2015 Florida Surf Film Festival. We hope you share our appreciation for their commitment to excellence in surf media and filmmaking.

We look forward to seeing you Friday, June 19th, where we will officially announce our partnership at Atlantic Center for the Arts and screen seven new short films, including the East Coast premiere of Brother, starring Kolohe Andino.

Florida Surf Film Festival’s mission is to invigorate Florida surf culture through film appreciation and artistic expression by exhibiting contemporary films from filmmakers far and wide.
