Florida Surf Film Festival Presents Cluster – East Coast Premiere

February 6, 2015 – New Smyrna Beach, FL

Dear Suburbia (Surfer Poll Movie of the Year – 2012), Lost Atlas, and other work like Bending ColoursModern Collective (Surfer Poll Movie of the Year – 2010) defined a new movement in the aesthetic of surf films.  Kai Neville’s most recent film, Cluster, will premiere on the East Coast at Atlantic Center for the Arts on February 6, 2015, presented by Florida Surf Film Festival.  Doors open at 6PM; movies begin at 7PM.

Kai’s work represents the highest performance surfing by the best surfers in the world in locations around the globe.  The work is often paired with sounds worthy of a Spotify search and seizure mission, pumping through speakers before a surf session for the next year.  Defining our culture can often be retrospective through traditional documentaries, but Kai’s approach often defines the current and future of the sport and culture.  It’s fair to label his work as prospective, entertaining, and plain fun to experience.
