Florida Premiere of “Ocean Driven” – August 21st

Monster Energy and the Florida Surf Film Festival are proud to premiere in Florida a new film from Aurelia Productions, Ocean Driven, on August 21st at Atlantic Center for the Arts with doors opening at 6PM and films starting at 7PM.  Tickets are $10/person, and nearly every ticket holder will receive a giveaway at the door thanks to Red Dog Surf Shop and various other supporting sponsors.  Clancy’s Cantina will be serving food as soon as the doors open, so come early for some tacos and a cold beer, brought to you by Cigar City Brewing and Green Room Brewing.  Short films by other filmmakers will also be screened including Saturday 6:27AM by Josh Rufford, Indo Festival by Kepa Acero, How to Road Trip by Samuel Glazebrook, and Exit by Reef, featuring Evan Geiselman.

Ocean Driven is a film about Chris Bertish’s coming of age in giant waves, leading up to the Mavericks Invitational in 2010. Minutes after nearly drowning, he takes the world by storm.  A true, great escape that redefines possible. Ocean Driven features countless big wave legends, ocean specialists, and breathtaking images.
